Chengchun Hao

     I am a Professor at the Institute of Mathematics, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Additionally, I hold a position as a Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
     My primary area of expertise is in partial differential equations (PDE), specifically in free boundary problems (FBP) and initial value problems (IVP) in fluid hydrodynamics and related fields. My primary publications appear in prestigious international journals such as Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., Comm. Math. Phys., J. Diff. Eqns., SIAM J. Math. Anal., among others.
     I have been awarded the Director's Award of AMSS, the Special Award of the President of the CAS, the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of CAS, the Nomination for the National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, and the Lu Jiaxi Youth Talent Award of CAS. I was selected as a founding member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS and have led four general projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China (including Young Scientist Fund) and two CAS special projects to date. Currently, I am involved in one project from the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Youth Team Program of CAS in the field of basic research.
     I also serve as the executive editor of "Mathematical Advances in Translation".
