Grading |
Grades will be based on the exams and quizzes:
- your best eight quizzes count for 25%;
- two midterms count for 40% ( 20% each);
- the final exam counts for 35%.

Homework |
Homework will be assigned once a week and posted on the course homepage.
No homework will be collected. However, you are STRONGLY recommended to do all homework, since the quizzes are very similar to homework problems.

Quizzes and Tests |
There will be 10-11 quizzes based on homework assignments and two midterm exams in recitation classes, and one final exam. No make-up test except for emergency or sickness (with proper documentations).
